Converting Microliters to Milliliters
The method to convert microliters (à ¼L) to milliliters (mL) is demonstrated in this worked example problem. Problem Express 6.2 x 104 microliters in milliliters. Solution 1 à ¼L 10-6 L 1 mL 10-3 L Set up the conversion to the desired unit will be canceled out. In this case, we want mL to be the remaining unit. Volume in mL (Volume in à ¼L) x (10-6 L/1 à ¼L) x (1 mL/10-3 L) Volume in mL (6.2 x 104 à ¼L) x (10-6 L/1 à ¼L) x (1 mL/10-3 L) Volume in mL (6.2 x 104 à ¼L) x (10-6/10-3 mL/à ¼L) Volume in mL (6.2 x 104 à ¼L) x (10-3 mL/à ¼L) Volume in mL 6.2 x 101 à ¼L or 62 mL Answer 6.2 x 104 à ¼L 62 mL
